Chris Vermeulen – Founder and Managing Director

Chris Vermeulen started the business in 2005, and has been the head of the company ever since, approaching day to day operations with focus and vigour. His management style is informed by 20 years of experience in an accounting and financial management background, which allows him to steer the company in the direction of growth and sustainability while understanding the fiscal requirements that need to be met. Chris has a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree, and previously worked for companies such as PG Glass, Dunair and Sir Juice in his early career. He also completed his articles with Hoek & Wiehahn auditors in Klerksdorp

Bertus Venter – Operational Manager

Chris’ oldest son Bertus is the Operational Manager, and was part of the creation of V3plus Waterproofing in 2005, joining his father with a passion to grow the business and ensure a sustainable future for the company.The family connection managed to grow a successful waterproofing business to its current state, with additional growth opportunities emerging thanks to the fact that we are now the leading waterproofing company in the Vaal Triangle area.

Arno Venter – V&V Plumbing
Chris’ youngest son, Arno was also involved in the waterproofing business until two years ago; when he joined the company’s other division, V4 Plumbing. The brothers joined the company with a determination to grow the business into a successful enterprise, and thanks to a combination of their youth and enthusiasm, together with Chris’ management skills, the waterproofing company has tasted great success and continues to strive towards further ambitions. Arno is primarily focused on the plumbing element of the business.

John Sturm – V4 Plumbing

In 2010, Chris joined forces with John Sturm, a very accomplished plumber by trade, to form V4 Plumbing. The association made great business sense, and more importantly, it provided clients with even more value with additional services available through the trusted V3plus Waterproofing brand.

Jimmy Molope – Site Supervisor

Jimmy Molope is our highly regarded Site Supervisor and has been with the company from inception. He is the most experienced waterproofer present within our teams, and his extensive ability is incredibly important to our company. It is incredibly important to us that Jimmy and each member of our staff embodies the characteristics of our company, and that is why we ensure that all of our people are fully trained, experienced, competent, friendly and reliable.

Anthony Channing - Manager
Anthony Channing joined the team in 2015, and immediately understood the vision that drives V3plus
Waterproofing. His extensive experience and understanding of business matters stems from his time as business owner. He now manages the waterproofing branch in Johannesburg with a defined vision of how to take the company forward. He has a T5 Qualification from Witwatersrand Technical College.

Though our work teams are small, they are very competent, allowing us to be flexible, while our track record proves our ability to produce excellent results on small projects and large contracts stretching over long periods of time when we combine our teams.
